Broken Function [Oblicuas]
Multimedia installation that uses 12 tables as a projection screen. An archive is projected featuring different ways—fictionalized or performed—of hacking everyday objects in cinema.
In the piece, hacking is understood as a form of potential: a practice that allows for rethinking and altering given materialities, and appropriating them.
It also signals a rebellion against the predetermined usefulness of objects, in order to explore other narratives and spaces in which to exist.
